Modern RVs are classified as Class Cs. The Class C motorhome is a mid-size option, it is a compromise between the Class A and the Class B. Yeah, we know that’s confusing. Class Cs are built with a cabin chassis and are easy to pick out by their overcab sleeping areawith another area in the back; some have slide-outs similar to those found commonly in larger Class As. Class C RVs usually have a separate bathroom area, whereas a Class B camper van might not. Class Cs work well for people who want something smaller and less expensive than a Class A but think a camper van is too small. Towing: Class C RVs usually aren’t powerful enough to tow another vehicle.
